ABOUT

Kerrie started highland dance at age 3 following in her big sister's footsteps and has never looked back since.  Starting ballet, tap and jazz at a later age of 10 her passion for dance grew even stronger.

Advancing her training after leaving school Kerrie continued on to the MGA Academy of Performing Arts to train professionally where she completed her HNC in Musical Theatre and gained valuable training for the industry.  Realising she wanted to focus further on the dance aspect of musical theatre she progressed her training at Dance For All Theatre School.  Studying various different styles of dance expanded Kerrie's knowledge greatly leaving her with a vast bank of styles for the future.  Graduating from Dance For All with a HND in Professional Dance Performance led naturally into the final year completion course at PASS: Edinburgh College where Kerrie graduated with a BA(Hons) Dance.

Whilst studying Kerrie also performed for 3 years in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo as part of the dance team.  This was a life changing experience as she travelled to Japan, Holland and many places in Scotland performing.  Kerrie successfully auditioned and performed as a dancer in The Spirit of Scotland Show in Edinburgh in her final two years of studying.

After graduating Kerrie has furthered her passion for teaching qualifying in many disciplines as a recognised teacher and is now passing on her love for dance to many other children and adults.
